Terms of use

1. Who can play
You must be 18 or over. By using the site you confirm you are. We may close accounts we believe belong to someone under 18.
2. Play money only
Chips, levels, items in the shop, club rewards and every other in-game balance are virtual. They exist only inside Hit or Stand and are not your property. We can change, reset or remove them, for example to fix a bug or keep the in-game economy fair.
3. No real-money gambling
There is no way to win money or anything of monetary value. Success at a social casino does not mean you would win at real-money gambling.
4. Buying chips
Chip packs are an optional purchase of virtual play-money chips for entertainment, sold by SKMB Software Ltd. You can always play without paying. Chips you buy work exactly like free chips: they have no cash value and can never be cashed out, sold, transferred or won as prizes.
- Who can buy: players aged 18 or over with a saved account (username and password).
- Payment: taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies.
- Delivery and your right to cancel: chips are added to your account as soon as the payment goes through. At checkout you ask for them straight away and agree that, once they're added, you lose the 14-day right to cancel that normally applies to digital content.
- Refunds: chip purchases are final once the chips are added, except where the law requires otherwise, for example if they weren't delivered. If something goes wrong, contact us first. If a payment is refunded or reversed, the chips from it are taken back, and after a chargeback we may stop further purchases on the account.
- Boosts and passes: some items are not a one-off pile of chips. The Founder Pack (limited to 100, one per account) adds chips now plus a rank jump, a daily chip drop for 30 days, a permanent double on the daily wheel and a badge. The Weekly Chip Pass pays a chip drop on each of the next 7 days you visit. Lucky Hour resets your wheel, doubles that spin and doubles XP for an hour. These start as soon as the payment goes through and, like chips, have no cash value. If a payment for one is refunded or reversed, its effects are removed too.
- Spending limits: everyone has a limit of £50 a day and £150 in any 30 days. New accounts start with a monthly limit of £19.99, the price of the dearest pack, which you can change in Settings up to £150. Once you change it, it's locked for 14 days: you can lower it again at any time, but you can't raise it until the 14 days are up.
5. Fair play
Don't cheat, exploit bugs, script or automate play, run more than one account to farm rewards, or use another person's account. If you find a bug that pays out more than it should, tell us on the Discord. We may reverse winnings that came from a bug, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.
6. Chat and conduct
Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats, spam, adverts, or sharing personal information about anyone. Moderators can mute, remove or ban players.
7. Discord rewards
Joining our Discord and verifying can give a one-off chip reward. If you leave the server, part of your later winnings goes towards paying that reward back until it is cleared, or until you rejoin. One reward per person.
8. Invite a friend
Your invite link pays you and your friend a one-off chip bonus once they have saved an account and reached level 3. It is not paid for accounts created on the same connection or device as yours, for your own spare accounts, or beyond the daily and overall limits shown on the site. We can withhold or reverse invite bonuses that look farmed.
9. Your account
You're responsible for your username, password and recovery code. Anyone with your recovery code can use your account, so keep it private.
10. Changes and availability
The site is provided as it is. We may change games, odds, rewards or these terms, and we may suspend the service. If we change these terms we'll update the date above.
11. Who we are and contact
Hit or Stand is run by SKMB Software Ltd, a company registered in England with company number 17532454. Registered office: Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ. Questions or problems: ask in #help on our Discord.
